Downloading Linux Mint 5 (Main Edition!) but got a question....

So as mint is based off of ubuntu 8.04 am i able to use repo's made for ubuntu hardy to install things like mediatomb easily?

or is mint totally separate?

i'm 99% sure you can use the ubuntu repositories

i'll second that, its just a tweaked ubuntu, the underlying workings should be just the same, you might need to add the repos manually using synaptic but i doubt it

just read some reviews and they use the same repo's or something so i should be fine.
