Downloading Linux

Hi Guys

I downloaded Linux Fedora Core 2 a little while ago, and tried to install but ran media check and came back with errors...I didn't check the hash thing. I downloaded a program called HashCalc and the hashes didn't match those provided in the FTP Download Directory. Do ALL HashCalculators output the same Hash? In this case it was SHA1.

I think I am going to get Fedora Core 6 instead as it is such an old version!

I use Firefox as my regular browser on XP, do you mean for downloading the ISO or actually on the box?

I forgot to mention it is going to be a server.
