Okay, so I've got a Belkin Wireless G PCI card which refuses to work. While I sort out why that is, I'm connected via Ethernet. It's connected to a Netgear Router that looks similar to this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-017-NG&groupid=46&catid=1012&subcat=

It's just the standard router that came with the Pipex Connection. Internet surfing is fine, but when I try to download something, 95% of the time it comes out corrupted. EXE's, ZIP files etc all fail their integrity check. I'm not sure what's going on? help is appreciated.

EDIT : Happens in both OSes, XP 32-bit and Vista 64-bit.

EDIT2: Some web pages are showing up a bit garbled now, until I refresh. It's not just limited to files.

Run MemTest. I had this when my RAM was shagged.

EDIT: Web pages to? Ouch. Probably not ram then! Try updating the routers firmware? Does it happen to all machines on the connection?

I also had the same problem with corrupted downloads, changed the ram out and all is well. Definatly worth running memtest :)
