Got a bit of weirdness going on with my new PC so would appreciate some help please.
I'm on NTL BB 10Mb and the line was rock steady on my old PC but on my new one (both self built) when ever I download a large file via a non resuming method (i.e. "Save Target As") it times out randomly making the download fail all the time.
It would seem that the connection drops as I was chatting to a mate earlier via messenger and I got disconnected. I can only presume that it is a problem with XP SP2 as I formatted my old PC and put XP Pro SP2 on it (sold it to a friend) and it's doing exactly the same thing with his connection, despite the comp working flawlessly for 3 years with no problems using SP1.
Any help is appreciated
