Ok I can pick one up tonight for $400 + tax. 40 gb version.

Whats the downsides of having a US ps3.

I assume the DVD region will be locked to R1 and this cant be changed.
Blurays are regioned as well yes? AB&C. what is the availibity of these in the UK is it going to mean i cant just got to tescos and pick myself up the latest film?

As for Games I am told they are un-regioned is this correct? if it is true will this remain the case?

I've already picked up my Zune and some other toys and tonight im going to buy some Wii controllers for a freind and the PS3 box just looks tempting.

(no hating pls I already own 2 360s)

Downsides to a US PS3: it's fat, makes annoying noises, and tries to exert its presence on other consoles.

After a night in a out in houston that just made me LOL in my hotel room.

"Would you like cheese on your soup"

I'm still torn on the ps3 and might just get a nds instead

Yeah NDS's appear to be like rocking horse excrement.
I've tried Gamestop, and Best Buy with no joy. Someone at work said walmart was probally my best bet to get one so I may have to go to and have look there.

Im also having trouble finding Wii controllers for a friend. He wants 2 controllers and nunchuks but they are also in short supply.

Based on $400 + 8% sales tax and a credit card type rate of 1.92. It works out at around £225

So is the saving worth the hassle? im beginning to think not.

Nuchucks are a plenty in Gamestop, Controllers on the other hand are AWOL.

I just hope I land at the same time as the Lagos flight again back in the UK. customs completly ignore you while that ones coming in

no sales tax in Massachusetts? I didnt know that I guess ill have to aim at a trip to out our staughton or cambridge offices next.

Im not sure i can order online for delivery to a hotel but ive talked to one of my work mates about it and hes not adverse to me ordering stuff to his adress.
