DP to mini DP adaptor

Like an idiot, I ordered the Startech active mini DP to Dual DVI D cable without checking my card first, only to find out my card has a full size DP port

Do OcUk stock a full size DP to Dual DVI cabl? Or a DP to mini DP male / female converter (which sounds like a bad idea anyway)?

Have had a search through the site but couldn't see either? Saw a full size Dell DP to active dual link DVI connector on amazon but reviews were 50/50 works / doesn't work and really would like to get 120hz surround working on my Samsung S23A700s.

Any advice (other than "what an idiot") greatly appreciated ;)

What graphics card is it?

The adapter will cost around £75. You need a n active DP to DVI dual link adapter to make use of 120hz

This is presuming you're trying eyfinity.

Sorry should have said.... Card is one of these OcUk GTX 280 and the adaptor I bought is one of these

It was only after the adapter arrived and I tried to plug it in that I realised what a fool I was :(

Currently have 2 of the monitors connected via DVI D and the third via HDMI, but when I run extended desktop in that configuration (which is awesome btw) from what ive read, whilst gaming the HDMI limits the whole setup to 60Hz.

Yeah, I have seen one (not sure if I'm allowed to post the link) for £8.50, but not sure whether that would have a negative impact on anything Vs a proper full size DP to DVI D adapter? Although finding one of those that's guaranteed to work seems like a bit of a minefield!

I wouldn't think so, its all digital signal so should be no quality loss or anything going from DP>MDP>DVI.
