DPD ' Awaiting receipt of parcel' problems?

Using them as a delivery, and usually (overclockers) they're fine.
In fact they delivered my order this morning which I ordered on friday.

Now I also ordered something from a different site and thought i'd use them, however it hasn't arrived and the tracking just says ' Awaiting receipt of parcel'

What does this mean?!

Usually means DPD are waiting to recieve the parcel, could also mean its on it's way to the first dept.

:/ So it most likely won't arrive today?

The time says any time from 7am to 5:30pm.

I doubt it'll make it then..

DPD were meant to deliver to me today, but the delivery driver knocked on the wrong door. Now I have to wait till tomorrow, why you can't ring them up and tell them to re-deliver on the same day idk.

Have you tried asking DPD or contacting the other company you ordered from or even checking their website for a FAQ?

A Quick google: "1) The seller or store you purchased it from has registered the parcel with DPD courier, but the parcel has not yet been received by the shipper (DPD). Either DPD has to pick up the parcel from the seller or the seller has to drop it off at a DPD location.

2) DPD uses a point-to-point system in which your package travels from one DPD warehouse to the next until it is closest to your house (they don't drive it straight from California to New Jersey, for example). 'Awaiting receipt of parcel' may mean that the parcel has arrived at the nearest location and has been sent out on a local delivery truck and is on its way to your house. This means you are the one waiting to receive it. In this case, you should get the package today or tomorrow (it shouldn't take more than a day or two to move it from the nearest warehouse or DPD shipping center and get it to your house)"
