DPD deliver after 5? My delivery not turned up yet :( 5:10pm

Hey guys, sorry for this annoying thread.

I ordered a GTX 670(omg cant wait!) and i'm sirtting here like a kid at christmas looking out the window for Santa.

I placed the order on Sunday the 28th, scheduled delivery for 30th by day next delivery. 11am this morning i got the email saying the item has been shipped. Nothing appears on the DPD website yet.

What time do DPD stop delivering? I saw another thread where a guy got his delivery at near 8pm. So do DPD deliver past 5pm then on next day delivery?

Check your tracking? It usually tells you exactly when it's going to be delivered.

Nothign appears on the DPD website when i stick my consignment number in

Your shipping email should have a tracking link.

You get 2 emails, one to confirm shipment. Another confirming a time slot of delivery.

I would expect it's coming tomorrow chap

I got one email to say the card has been shipped. It contained a tracking number for DPD website but it does not work.

The DPD website says "Your search did not find any matching tracking. Please refine your search criteria. "

If you only got the email today saying it had shipped, I'd expect it's not coming till tomorrow. DPD's website will probably update late tonight to tell you where the package is exactly.

DPD's tracker doesn't usually update until around 8pm-midnight. If the shipped email was just today then you won't be getting the parcel until tomorrow.

They do still deliver beyond 5PM. I've had one at just after 6PM before.

Keep in mind that for most etailers, "next day delivery" isn't necessarily the day after you placed the order, but guaranteed* to be delivered the day after it has shipped.

* Of course, you're still at the libety of the courier, and whether they fancy doing any work that particular day or not.

I was quite impressed that a parcel arrived last Friday, with a scheduled delivery time of between 5:20pm and 6:20pm. Evening time on a Friday night... I'd have placed money they'd have been on their way to the pub, if they weren't there already. I was already resigned to receiving it on Monday.
