Hi,

Just had my order from overclockers turn up, guess they're delivering on Sundays because of xmas, which was a nice surprise. 2 packages expected but only one delivered, I queried this and that the label said the box I had was 2 of 2. The driver said the other package will be delivered tomorrow, should I be worried or will everything be good ?

I made sure it only said one parcel was accepted on his pda signature tool gizmo.

That's funny, I would have expected they'd be delivered at the same time? ...
Though yeah, agree with kefan, just wait till tomorrow :D

I know, but if both parcels have been shipped under the same consignment number and their system has delivered part of that consignment I wonder if I'll get told roughly when it'll turn up. To add insult to injury there was only one packet of haribo in the box, I'm disappointed with OCuk, don't they know I've got kids to feed ;)

Hehe, maybe theyre were just spreading out the haribo so you dont spoil your sunday lunch.

I was woken up this morning by a parcel delivery, certainly wasnt expecting that on a sunday morning. Theyre good lads these drivers, ya wouldnt catch me working at that time on a sunday morning.

I had the same 2 weeks ago. Got the case delivered on Sunday, and the rest of the components on Monday. Doesn't sound very efficient for both DPD and us to me.

I ordered a Monitor and Mouse one arrived Saturday with no invoice (Monitor) then on Monday my mouse arrived with an invoice.

Bizzare

I have had broken shipments before with DPD and other couriers where i have received Box 1 of 2 etc and it was because i was in the middle of courier depots and one package was sent to Portsmouth hub and the other was sent to Guildford hub and were delivered by 2 different drivers.

I've also had DPD deliver packages from the same consignment on different days. I've also had same consignment delivered by two different drivers on different routes on the same day!

Seems to be no logic to it.

I have found that packages can arrive when they feel like it from DPD. Overall a great service but sometimes packages arrive before you expect them! :D

Which is good, if i'm in. :p

Had an email with an eta for later today for package 1 of 2. Strange the way they work but as long as they deliver I don't mind. Better be more than 1 packet of haribo in this box though, or they'll be trouble! ;)
