Hi there, question in the title really.

My parcel was due for delivery yesterday but because of the snow it didn't arrive.

However when i check its status today it says its on the van for delivery again.

Is this right or is it a glitch?

I can confirm that a lot of depots are open today, and some of the drivers are delivering on a Sunday to catch up on the backlog in some areas.

It's on the van.

The van is locked in the warehouse. The driver is at home enjoying his day off.

This is most probably the correct answer. Some couriers are delivering on Sunday to clear backlogs so you'll have to wait and see.

Anyone know if City Link are delivering?

Was expecting a package on Friday but it hasn't arrived, nor did it yesterday. I needed/wanted it for tomorrow!

And you can't even ring them because they aren't taking calls.

UK mail had a backlog of 22,000 undelivered parcels in their scottish depots at the begining of last week. They were asking all the other depots to send up 2 drivers to help clear the back log.

Thats fine they all said, but happens to all the parcels those drivers should be delivering while they are in scotland?

D'oh.

There are currently 250 undelivered consignments for market rasen alone sat in their lincoln warehouse, Market Rasen is made up of about 6 streets.

Its all fine them ****ing off home at the first signs of snow, they dont think what those handfull of stolen hours at home costs.
