DPD delivery

There is nothing wrong with it. You’ll get a tracking number email when the order ships and when it goes out for delivery they will give a delivery window.

Welcome. :)

Put all delivery companies names into review sites, they are all bound to be mostly bad reviews because people complain when they have not received something on time.

When receiving on time and everything is fine, people usually do not make a positive review and just open the package and get on with their life as normal.

DPD from statistics out of all delivery companies we have used and we have used a lot of different companies and they seem to be exceptionally good, professional and reliable.

Just be grateful they aren't coming with DX secure.

Awful, awful company, going from mine and other fellow OcUK members' experiences :)

We use them at work, 40 foot lorry with many many orders going out. Rarely have issues, and most the time it's due to labels falling off which is our fault.

DPD are not to bad, they did loose my order from Dec which 5UB helped with me getting a refund :)

Had them yesterday were brilliant. Gave me a one hour window of delivery on the tracker on their website and turned up within that window.

However asking for thoughts on a courier is utterly ridiculous. Service will differ according to many factors, of which geography is a fundamental one. Their service might be outstanding in my area but horrendous in yours. Also people tend to write reviews online following a bad experience. You could use them once and have a bad experience when the other 99 times it could have been excellent.

I was expecting a delivery today. They carded me without bothering to knock or ring the doorbell (I didn't hear a knock, but I heard the card come through the letterbox loud and clear). I got to door as fast as I could, but they were gone. Rang the number on the card, but there was no option to speak to a human. Useless tbh.

DPD = Always had decent experiences and when the website updates to 'on route to destination' , the package is generally delivered within 2 hours.

depends where you live really, as far as i iknow they only have ONE depo for the whole country (birmingham) which is too far for me to go if i have to collect it so your only options then if you/someone can't be in for the 'late' time that they like to deliver (after 12 being 'too late' in my case) then you have to pay £6 for '8.50 - 12' or £12 for 'before 10am' there just not a good company if you have to work!

Well it depends hugely where you live, I'm in Swindon and the nearest DPD depot is Gloucester, if they ain't got enough drops for Swindon they don't bother, it's as simple as that. 3 times I have paid for Saturday delivery, tracking says on van for delivery and even gives delivery window, but it never arrives.

I have found out that most drivers are self employed and if they do not get enough drops for an area they don't bother until they do.

The BBC are investigating this outfit, because they do not carry out what they advertise. Phantom carding etc.

Royal Mail or UPS would be much better, but like I said if DPD are on your doorstep or your area using DPD a lot then no problem. In Swindon they are 100% crap.
