DPD delivery

My delivery was due to come today sometime... It hasnt... On DPD website it says

29 Nov 2011 expresspak - dpd next day Awaiting receipt of parcel

What the hell does awaiting receipt of parcel mean??

DPD are waiting for the parcel to arrive at their depot.

Can we PLEASE have a thread where all the delivery queries/moans/criticisms go?
 
Waiting to be delivered to you I guess.

DPD will give you an hour time slot when they're dispatching it.

Did you deliver it after 4pm yesterday? If so it will not have gone out in yesterday's shipment, and therefore will not have been shipped today. Next day delivery is therefore tomorrow as you ordered it too late in the day. If not, or if not OcUK, ignore this.

Ok, looks like there is split opinions... It is ocUK product, video card and HDD... So who do I have to call ocUK, to tell them to dispatch it, or DPD to tell them to deliver??

There is no information about 1 hour time slot at all.

I ordered it on (Monday 28th) evening or day, can not remember.
 
Go to the tracking webpage and type in your tracking number, then click "Show more tracking detail".
It should look something like this:

29 Nov 2011 10:01 Rushden Your parcel has been delivered, signed for by XXXXX
29 Nov 2011 07:11 Rushden Your parcel is on the vehicle for delivery
29 Nov 2011 04:02 Rushden Your parcel has arrived at the local depot
28 Nov 2011 23:45 Hub 3 - Birmingham Your parcel has been received at our sortation hub
28 Nov 2011 17:04 York Your parcel has been collected from the sender

If your parcel hasn't been collected from the sender then it's an OcUK issue, if it's anything else then it's DPD. On day of dispatch they will give you an hour time slot in the morning, if you never had that then it wasn't coming today.
 
If you use the customer services section and provide your order number, I shall get on it first thing in the morning if there are any issues. :)
 
When I had issues with DPD (It was actually my own fault), I called OcUK when they first opened and they sorted it all out. Due to the issues there was a day delay.

Your best bet would probably be to post in the forum I linked too.

Monday 28th evening, if it was next day would mean:
Tuesday 29th Dispatch to DPD - Website updated in the evening - about 5am on the 30th you'd get a one hour delivery slot.
Wednesday 30th Dispatch to you.

If you haven't got a one hour delivery slot it won't be here today.

Bit odd though, the whole thing.

But yeah post in CS forum, and double check products were in stock when you ordered (just to be sure that this isn't causing a delay).

OP, you fail at hiding your consignment number :p

awaiting receipt of the parcel would suggest it's something to do with OcUK
