Well, I ordered a monitor and a headset last week to avoid burning off the rest of my student loan on booze  and was meant to receive it today.

Had a look at the delivery tracker this morning, all seemed fine. However, by the time it was 6 oclock and still reading "Parcel on Vehicle for delivery" I was beginning to get a little worried. It still hasn't arrived, am I right in thinking it's not going to be coming today?

Thanks :)

Just an update.

Still had nowt, called up DPD earlier, who said that the parcel would be delivered between 7am and 8pm today ( ).
Nothing has arrived as yet, but again, 10pm and I'm not expecting it now.

A little information from DPD would be nice, as all they have told me so far is that they couldn't deliver yesterday and would deliver today (and that's without any reason why it wasn't actually delivered yesterday)

I'm at Uni all day tomorrow, and have paid for the delivery to have taken place either yesterday or today. I'm now not going to be at home till Friday afternoon if I'm lucky, Monday if not. Needless to say I'm a tad annoyed.

Any advice anyone can give me with regards to sorting this out? Any possibility of refunding the next day postage?

Sorry if it seems I'm on a rant, I'm really not, I just need that new monitor soon as I'm going back to Norwich next week :)

DPD can barely manage delivery when the weather's good. With snow, don't expect delivery at anything close to on time. A friend had to wait 3 weeks I think it was for a graphics card to be delivered last year because it snowed.

Bloody hell!

I can't wait that long for the monitor and headset! My flatmates are already giving me abuse about the noisy bass coming from my room (I'm sure you will agree music sounds better louder, especially dubstep :) )

I'll get back on to DPD tomorrow, cheers for the heads up :)

Another update.

Just flashed up on the tracking page:

"We were unable to deliver your parcel as there was no one present to sign for the delivery"

Hmm... is there a card? Nope. And I haven't had music on at all today, have been watching the road and waiting with trepidation for the best part of two days. Looking forward to the phone call tomorrow then

Yeah i think this is a standard message they put up when the driver is unable to deliver all parcels on his route. patience young jedi.

Cheers mate cheered me up :D

Just left them (DPD) a webnote thingy. Hopefully all will be resolved tomorrow. Especially as A.) I don't have a car (damn expensive student lifestyle :D ) and B.) have no money. Ladbrokes are screwing me over with my paycheck as well .

All in all, it's actually been a good week minus these two hiccups :)

Going to give them a call on my break, bit fed up with this tbh. It's not as if there is any snow or ice in sidcup, and there hasn't been all week, so not really up for believing that the weather is too bad for deliveries.

Thanks a lot guys, will keep you posted.

All sorted now, the package was delivered today :) and left with a girl in the flat downstairs, a good mate of mine.

Cheers OCUK for your brilliant customer service this morning ;)

Quick update.

Not really very happy with DPD, as they manged somehow to only deliver half my parcel. It's a lovely headset and all, but I would like my new monitor as well

Funny thing is, on the receipt I got in the packaging (obviously several sizes too small to fit a monitor  ) it still says both items :) made me smile at the inadequacy of DPD :D
