Looks badass m8.

OK been faffing around a bit, on stock volts they dont seem to like 1150 - or one of them doesnt - so im now trying 1125.. Hope this works and gets a result as have to go and help put the kids to bed soon!

OK,

highest I can go without touching the volts is 1090 mhz

if i go higher one of the cards craps out...

that puts 3dmark 11 extreme mark @ 5900

ill run the perf one...

Have you tried to up the power limit in afterburner or CCC ?

My crossfire 7970's do 1125/1575 on 1112mv which is what is stock on afterburner.

Hi m8

In my testing I found the cards sweet spot for voltage is 1.175mv - 1.215mv and at these voltages you should see 1200-1250MHz stable on one card.

Also remember these cards also have AUX voltage too, this can assist when overclocking. :)

Oh wow I didn't believe anybody would do that so checked it out, that's an amazingly stupid design choice.

No option for 120hz/2560 res over dvi on a top end gpu? lol, just lol.

I know. Im pretty annoyed about it. Still i guess its not a big issue in my life lol!

Yes.

I too found this out and my toys proceeded to go all over the office out of the pram. I've got a Samsung XL30 which is just DVI. So I can't actually use my monitor at anything above 1280x800 which is not good. So far I can't get it to work, the upside is games are very quick at 1280x800 resolution.

MSI are working on a solution for me or to at least tell me what cables I need to purchase. I really don't get their decision for Single-Link DVI on this card at all because for those of us with older 30" DVI only monitors or DVI 120Hz monitors this is an issue. :(

You need a miniDP to dual link DVI adapter.

You don't sell them.

The last time I looked they were around £75

Just out of interest I wonder if that was my problem too with going U2410 -> DVI-to-MiniDP. Meh, not fussed at the moment because it's working thanks to you using the DP-MiniDP which I dug out from the loft where I put the boxes.

You didn't tell me they glowed blue!!

Personally I think they'd look better in my rig mate.... Want to swap my Asus's for your MSI's :-) ???!!!!
