DPD keep sending me stuff i haven't ordered!

So last week got a micro hifi by DPD, addressed to us but no name. I was able to peel back the labels (had multiple on top of each other) and could see it was a ebay item initially as they include a little code when you buy labels from them. Anyhow i was able to track down seller by looking at completed listing and matching serial numbers and contacted seller and got it sorted and sent to correct address again.

Today received a big box of sausages and other cured meats, looks like expensive stuff. But unfortunately no sender details what so ever, just shows as coming from DPDs warehouse!

Not sure what to do with it as no sender details so cant track down where it came from or was going to. There's literally no point in even attempting to call DPD right now as they haven't even got back to me about a my own lost parcel a week ago.

I’m moaning as it not mine to keep, and I have to run around trying to find out where it needs to go. And if not where it can go as no good to us.

Googled the label on the meat and is a small farm down south. Got in touch with a very grateful gentleman and getting it sorted.

There is well over £300s worth, spoke to the guy and he said it was supposed to go to a meat shop and was for their Christmas stock.

No biggie, personally I have to make that effort otherwise I would feel guilty. If I put in the effort and can’t trace back obviously happy to keep something but I need to know I’ve put in some effort.

Surely by the time the correct people get hold of their sausage it's going to be questionable on whether it's still fresh or not.

I was thinking the same, no experience in cured meats but on the back says good till 2023.
