DPD leave with neighbour question

Hi
I have a.dpd delivery out today. I thought I would not be in and selected leave with any neighbour

Will they still check my home? I think I may now be in. I still want them to leave with any neighbour IF I am out but am hoping they still check my home 1st. Their website does not make this clear as far as I can tell
I dare not remove the leave with neighbour option.

Things like that, should be their 2nd option, after trying your door

They check the house first (if you go to tracking and try and change options they show the order they do things in.)
