DPD Query

Anyone know if you go to the front of the 'queue' the day after if they run out of time on your supposedly guaranteed next day delivery? Just spoke to a lady at DPD and best she could do was 'maybe' and 'we'll try again tomorrow'. Annoying when you have to take time to be at home to receive things! :o
 
I dont think thats how things work mate. A driver has his route set out the way he likes it, if your house is towards the end of the route you are looking at a late delivery time and vice versa. So fingers crossed you are at the start of his route :D

Just re read the end of your post and cant be bothered deleting what I typed :p, if it was meant to be a next day delivery(the day before) then he should get it off his van along with his 9am deliveries or at the very least with his 12am deliveries.
 
The driver sorts the route out himself I believe, as mentioned above. I've had the same DPD guy deliver stuff to my house for over the past year, so he knows pretty much when I'm in and if I'm out of bed! (always around 12:30-1:30) Great bloke :)

That's right, sorry I probably didn't word it that well! Should've come today but they didn't manage it, so I wondered if that puts me as a priority for the day after (tomorrow), or 4pm onwards like it was supposed to be today. Guess I'll just have to sit tight :)
