DQ6 Graphics and bios

I ran 3D mark05 on the mobo bios F4 and got just over 6000 when I updated the bios to F5 the score dropped to just over 5800 and with F6 bios the score went upto just over 5900.

I have told gigabyte who insisted it wasn't the bios and after a number of messages they run 3Dmark05 on different bios and found it was the bios. But on F4 against the F6 bios they said their score had dropped by only 3 points. My score is still by 100 points.

Has anybody else noticed the new bios updates have affected their graphic performance.

I have a 7600GT GPU.

Interesting. I've got the DS4. I'll try the old f3 bios and let u know later 2nite. What processor u running atm. I'm clocking in at just over 10k with x1900gt

E6600 at stock speed. But overclocked to 3ghz and not much improvement
over stock speed since the F5 and F6 bios with 3Dmark 05. With the F4 bios I overclocked to 2.7ghz and improved the 3Dmark 05 score buy 120 points.

Just had another reply from gigabyte suggesting I rma them m/b,cpu,ram,vga so they can figure out what the problem is. I suspect I would have to pay the cost of posting the rma and in the meantime what do they expect me to do for a pc.

Have you tried the F3 bios yet. I wounder if this maybe something that affects nvidia cards. Once the new ati R600 chip comes out I will be switching.
