Dr Watsons debugger help please

Well,its most definately not elementary

Created a folder for my daughters music/video/pix etc yesterday so she can sort her stuff out ready for backup or delete.Today I opens it and almost immediately get a microsoft error box pop up telling me that Dr Watson has encountered a problem and is closing etc.
Never heard of this so I googled and got many links to forums where folk are asking similar problems and indeed its been used by a virus but in 2005.Did a search for the signitures of this virus as well as running Spybot,Adaware and my AV,all drew a blank.Problem is that although every other folder I have accessed today has opened normally this one wont without Dr Watson stepping in for the crash.
How can I get around this ?
Help me please before she starts whinging at me !

You can disable dr wastson.

Thanks for that but is there a down side from disabling it ?

The crash analysis tool won't work, neither some features of error reporting. Other then that I'm not sure either.

Well,I got around the problem by going past the problem folder and dragging and dropping the folders she wanted into a new folder via the side bar,deleted the offending folder and all appears well.
I've disabled Dr Watson for now so I'll soon see what difficulties arise.
