I'm trying to backup some files onto DVD-R but if I drag and drop the files within windows it gives an error, "Problem Copying - Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file, What do you want Windows to do?"

Retry, Skip, Cancel...

Should I be able to drag and drop files within XP SP2 onto a DVD-R? I've always used Nero or Easy CD before, but I've not backed up anything onto disk in so long this machine doesn't have any copy software installed.

Can imgburn only burn images or individual files?

edit: ignore me, it can make the image too. Thanks bledd.

in imgburn, if you click Mode, then choose 'Build', you can drag and drop folders into the app, to burn

can burn to an iso file, or to a disc
