Drag And Drop Woes

having a general pc sort out today and came across an odd drag and drop issue

for example draging funnypic1.jpg in to the funny pic folder from the various photo folder it just makes a copy of funnypic1.jpg in the funny pic folder and leaves the original exactly wherer it was in the first place (anoying or what)

what i want to hapen is drag funnypic1 in to funny pic folder and it just be there nowhere else!!!!

i supose this is great if your electric goes just as jour about to move the most uberist owned pic you posess and loose it forever onoes

but its not for me HELP!!!!


eek please move me to the software section pronto ive made my self look an ass
 
Hold down right mouse button while dragging and it gives you the option of moving the file, copying it or creating s shortcut.

yes still it realy shouldnt be that anoying should it BUT. i suppose partition/partition drive/drive is like draging files to a cd or floppy
 
hay im not noob

nub is the prefered terminology i know a lot just a few things that baffle me

i could go about my daily computing buissines without the use of a mouse witch it more than i could say about a lot of people

if you hold... (when dragging file / folder)

left shift forces move
left ctrl forces copy
left alt forces create shortcut
