Drag me to hell

Acting good, humour good, not another group of dizzy Yank teenagers getting picked off good. Evoked memories of Evil dead good.

My partner and I went with her mother, she is 71. We had been telling her it was not gory, just a bit scary. Then walking in the ticket teller decides to tell grandma "Oooh, it is very gruesome."
We were like shush. She came in and thought it was good too.
It has been over hyped, when are half decent films not overhyped now.

Sixth sense, for example, that film scared me especially the part where he walks past the thermometer and the temperature drops. In fact I found sixth sense scarier, I did watch it on my own in this house. When I walk past the empty bedroom doors in this house at night, believe me it is scary. If you have read this far, imo, drag me to hell is alright, not a classic, not on your nelly. I personally would not of gone to the cinema to see it, it is my missus who drags me to all these horrors.
I hate these cheap shots they use in cinema now, basically volumes of sound to make you jump.
Anyone see 1048? There was a cool sound effect in that, subsonic sound??? that made you feel pressure in your ears. Cool. round about where he tries to escape through the hotel room window.
