New video released http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-03-06-dragon-age-inquisition-video-shows-off-next-gen-world looks very promising, with this and The Witcher 3 I can see Elder Scrolls online struggling

It looks good, as does Witcher 3 but neither are due out for ages are they ? ESO is due out soon plus its an MMO so not sure why these two games would make it struggle ?

And today brings a "gameplay" trailer and a release date of 7th October, looks pretty neat, only played the first one though and didn't complete it :\, really should... one day.

This got a whole lot more interesting. I read yesterday that it is going to have co-op multiplayer in the same style as Mass Effect 3 with waves of enemies and weapon/spell unlocks.

From what I can gather, it's more tactical. You control four characters at once.

Nope.

Since DA2, it's essentially Mass Effect play style. Location / Mission base, but with a little more scope for exploration.

Reviews are tempting me but as I missed the second (and I cant remember the first) is it worth dipping in now? Probably rent it at some point...

Value for money wise this is outstanding, I wouldn't worry about waiting for DLC personally.

Well I had this preordered but now the reviews are in.. wow! I've only played Dragon Age 1 to completion, is there much to know about the story of the second game?

If I like it I'd end up buying the DLC so it makes no sense for me to buy it now

Especially as I have GTA V to play for the first time. I've stopped buying multiple games at once, can only play one at a time.

I wasn't following this at all but after seeing some gameplay vids I've put an order in for it. Looks really good so looking forward to it.

It'll be nice having a single player game to sit with as my mates will all be playing GTAV - and despite it's popularity I simply can't stand these series in any way what so ever. So the release date is well timed for me!!
