Hi guys,

What would be the minimum card that you could run this on and expect decent performance ?

Rest of my system is ok but think it is being let down by the graphics card.

Thanks
Steveo

a 9800gtx should be able to play it; it may struggle at high resolutions with high detail, but I don't see any reason why it can't play it well... :)

I run it on a 8800GTS at 1900x1200 with AA at 2x and full detail and it runs fine. Turning off AA makes things run much quicker.

So your 9800GTX will run it no problem!

I'm running it on an 8800GTX, Q6600, 4GB ram installed on a Corsair SSD @ 1680*1050 and it runs great with everything maxed out :)

It's a wonderful game by the way; absolutely superb :D

9800gtx is fine and get overclocking that 920 tbh 3.4Ghz is so easy with stock cooling i really wish i was working i would get myself a 920 :( i built a friends system and i had it for a week while i overclocked it to 4.2Ghz absolutly crazy.

considiering ordering my GD80 today :).

Runs terribly on my HD4850, but it is hampered with a 2.2ghz AM2 X2...

I'll get back to you when my new system arrives. HD4850 should be more than enough to run it if the rest of the system is up to scratch.

Im taking it slow with the overclock until I get something that cools better. Think i just got a dodgy stock cooler cos temps seem to be higher than they should be.

Grab a prolimatech megahalem, awsome cooler and very well made... Need a BIIIG case to accomodate it though :P

Were to get an 5870? OCuk of course :P Though TBH they arn't available anywhere atm. I'm just hoping that my pre-order comes through before Christmas so I can play Dragon Age as well (its a Christmas present :) )

I get perfectly decent performance at high detail with my 4870 at 1920x1200. Not perfect but I was very pleasantly surprised. Unlike Borderlands, which runs pretty poorly in many areas. Still waiting for my 5970 to arrive.

got mine slightly overclocked & runs on same rez perfectly -

think a 5770 woudl work well as well and be bit moe future proof though?

I'm playing this with a GTX260 @ 600/1300/1050 (core/shader/VRAM) and it runs silky smooth at 1680x1050, 4xAA. Running it alongside a 3.5GHz PII X3 720 BE.

Card is an XFX, using the reference heatsink, not modified in any way. Temps never go above 65°C (fan runs at 55% at that temp, because of my fan profiles)

All i really know at the moment is that my 4870 512Mb Crossifre rig runs the game just fine in 2560x1600 Max settings, 16xAF 2xAA, not sure what the frame rate is, but never any slow downs.

Your 4850 will be fine once you upgrade. I'm using one with my i5 at stock speeds 1680X1050 everything on full. Very smooth game play :)

Fair enough :) the H50 - 1 cooler seems to be the weapon of choice thease days i would go for that for sure ;)
