So, I own the game. I am having a hard time playing it, I'm not really keen on magic users for it, but what makes it wierd is im a magic user on LOTRO and WoW. Which is the better class to create on DA:O, Rogue or Warrior, soley for best gameplay?

Gameplaywise it doesn't really matter from what I can recall because you just end up with a party that does the rest anyway. I think rogue was slightly easier end game and warrior in the early to mid.

Obviously you want a tank, usually Alistair, with all the shield abilities then probalby all the Champion abilities as well. Then you need to set up tactics which include ally -> under attack -> melee/ranged -> taunt.

Then you want either a rogue/warrior duel wielding or a mage. A mage means you need to be constantly controlling this character casting spells, whilst a duel-wielder can be left to their own devices, as long as they have momentum, whilst you control the other heroes. I usually ended up using Character (Rogue), Alistair (tank), Leliana (Rogue, Archer + crit gear/stats) and Wynne (healer).

Only difficult fight tends to be Archdemon/High Dragon.
