Dragon Quest? Internet game called something like that...

It was a very basic looking game where you got in fights with things like rats and beggars (at the start), and you could run, fight, trade etc.

You picked up objects from them which you could sell.

Vague description but does anyone know what game it was? I've got a strange feeling it was called Dragon Quest but google says no.

Thanks, but that's not it. It's more a clicky sort of game. Mainly text. I'll draw a picture in paint, see if it jogs any memories.
