I just bought myself Dragonage: origins and I've noticed there's a lot of expansions. If I buy them do they just integrate into the main story like Fallout 3's expansions? Or is it a case of having to select awakening, etc at the title screen.
With it being my first run through, I thought I'd get all the expansions and make the world as vast as possible, Rather than running through it Vanilla. But it would be pointless to do so if its not integrated and means selecting an expansion at the start

I have to say....Its a good game, but the combat.... There's So much choice during battle, so many characters to control and a tactics sub screen on top. I can imagine it's not so bad once you've played a while, But right off the bat.... Its complicated. And I've played Mass effect through loads so i expected to be fine playing this. But for some reason I'm finding it somewhat daunting = \
Also, the combat system is getting a little bit better as I go along. I havent really gone in depth with the tactics page yet, I have just used the presets.
I got it off games on demand on a whim lol.
