Dragonball fighter z coming out this friday.

Looks a lot like mvc3 to me so I just bought it hopefully it will be good, the early reviews look good for the game.

I never played a dragon ball game before or watched the show so not sure how much I will enjoy story but graphics and game play look nice.

Anyone else getting this fighter?

I'm very much looking forward to it, though with a newborn here now my gaming time has been limited recently so I probably won't pick it up straight away. I played a tiny bit of the beta with some friends and whilst it was pretty mental (not used to the MvC style games), it seemed quite easy to start picking things up. We are all big Dragonball fans so had a lot of fun with it.

I think if you are a fan of the series then it will definitely benefit you, there are so many references, Easter eggs and just great attention to detail that you can really tell the developers had a lot of love for what they were making.

Max has probably one of the best fighting game channels around and has been putting a tonne of Dragonball videos up over the last few months, there's updates, character breakdowns, matches and general opinions/advice on some of the mechanics.

Well worth looking into.
