I am planning on changing over to compression fittings and installing an Aquaero 5 XT with flow sensor and temp sensors as a project to keep me busy when i come home on leave. I was thinking whilst i have the rig completely drained to install a drain line to make life easier in future. I was planning on running a hose from a spare port on my GPU block down through the gromets to the bottom of the case with a ball valve on the end so i can just attach another hose to the other end when i want to drain. I know this will create a section of line with no flow but would this really cause any problems? I use Mayhems X1. Sorry for crappy MSPaint picture best i have on works computer :D

Thanks for the reply, the ball valve i have ordered is a bitspower G1/4, i could fit it there, i was trying to keep the valve hidden but maybe it will look quite cool direct on the block.

Cheers it was my first try at watercooling really enjoyed it, cant wait to get home and add all the aquacomputer sensors! I like the sound of the rotarys so this way the valve would be hidden under the card? Do you recomend any paticular fittings?

I got the aquacomputer mps400 flow sensor, 2 aquacomputer female/female temp sensors and 2 aquacomputer male/female temp sensors. Got them here whilst i am working in the states, save as bit of cash :D I get home on leave in 6 weeks so will start the upgrade then!
