Hi all. I’m going to be changing my old Tygon tubing after years of neglect . The pump is part of an XSPC Rasa kit along with a 280mm rad which is only used to cool the CPU. Problem is I have no drain point in the loop. Where can I place a drain point at in the loop ? Also I have no idea ref compression fittings as this kit used barb fittings. My new tubing is going to be 1/2 ID , 3/4 OD mayhem ultra clear with XSPC EC6 pre mix clear coolant. Any help with the drain position and exactly what parts i need would be greatly appreciated.

You would want the drain port at the lowest point in your loop ideally.

Here's my cut and paste for a drain port

Simplest option would be a normal drain valve , like this ;

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-af-t-splitter-3f-g14-nickel-wc-944-ek.html ( splitter to connect to loop )

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-af-extender-rotary-m-m-g1-4-nickel-wc-9hs-ek.html ( rotary so the valve can be faced to the correct orientation )

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-af-ball-valve-10mm-g14-nickel-wc-900-ek.html ( the valve itself )

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-csq-plug-g1-4-for-ek-badge-nickel-wc-619-ek.html ( just in case to plug the valve )

Will look like this ;

Add a picture of your loop and i can show the best place
