Afternoon all,

My system has been running the same coolant for just over a year and i was thinking a bout giving the system a flush and some fresh coolant or having to draining it to sell some parts.

This a pic of my system below, ( have a bay res) i decided not to put a draining point in my loop so where would be the best place to remove a fitting and drain the system.

In future what is the popular way to install a draining point in a loop.

thanks in advance for your advice

Tony

agree with seraph

haven't got a picture to hand to show what i do with mine, but it's basically the same as yours - just slide a jug/oven tray or something similar under the gpu then pull the hose off and let it drain. you can always blow down the pipe to force more water out

You could put a tee in once drained so next time its a bit easier, probably on the long pipe that runs along the radiator at the bottom would be easiest.
