A very good rpg this , currently playing it now and it got some great awards in germany before it was translated to english!. Graphics are very nice , lovely music and the cities have a lot of life!. Very similar to dragon age but different in style!

If you can get it , get it!. It's really damn good , you even feel a part of the story was great getting the cheer from my men as i passed the test

I found the original Drakensang a bit sterile (and I absolutely loved the Realms of Arkania games ) does this have any more character?

Yeah, me too. Graphically gorgeous, decent environments, but story was absolute cliche'd RPG sludge, and the characters were all a bit two dimensional. I also found it very hard to progress with anything but a full party of fighters.

The original game is £14.99 on Steam but not sure where you can get the expansions though.

There is an English version that's out as a pirated one so it must be on sale somewhere, or about to be (no i haven't pirated it).

I played the first one ages ago but i think i only played for 2 or 3 hours before forgetting about it. Is this one any better?

Officially out in uk stores 2011 , preorder Benelux full english version

Personally it's best to wait till jan 2011 and get a more upto date version , hopefully with the expansion!

Drakensang the dark eye? , that'l be english fully

A truelly great game , sure there are flaws as with all games but you will enjoy it!. I recommend using wasd keys to move and mouse for other things

I've just started Neverwinter Nights 2 after leaving that one on the shelf for ages (a running theme with me and RPGs!), so I reckon that'll carry me nicely to January in time for this to come out. At that point I'll nab the original one as well and try them both.

Still need to finish Dragon Age, mind!
