dram frequency wrong ?

I never messed with timing before though is it some thing i would need to do or can leave that bit alone ?

Ok after putting the speed of the ram to 1600mhz in the bios and cpuz was saying 800mhz so thats good.

But i ran prime95 and i got blue screen error :(

I upped the violts to +50 (the next one up from 1.4 and still same error.

I would put more volts on but i am not sure what is safe volts for ram ?


I had a look a the ram timing screen in the bios and well i have no clue where to begin messing with that :(

my motherboard is a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P

Thanks seraph i was just about to post the specs after looking on OCZ but now looking on overclockers ( specs you posted) there not the same lol

I must off looked at the wrong one lol


Right i will up the volts see what happens.

I still not sure how to match CL 6-8-6-24 into the bios timing unless it real easy and i am looking at it wrong :)

Just went into the bios and went to up the ram volts so i added 50 from normal and it said it was now 1.650 :O so normal volts are 1.6 thats a bit high ?

But cpuz says 1.5 volts but i always thought the bios is what you go by as that should give you the right reading.
