DRAM Frequency

So i have 8GB (2X 4GB) Kingston HyperX ram 1333mhz, but when i check cpu z it says that the frequency is 666.9mhz. i changed th DRAM frequency to 1333mhz in the bios, but it stills says 666.9mhz. it refuses to increase to 1333mhz. any ideas what could be wrong?

DDR = Double Data Rate

1333 / 2 = 666.5

Your RAM is operating at 1333MHz
