Hi I live in a country which gets cold in the winter and I am saving up to buy a computer but I am concerned with the temperature that's falls below condensation point that water may form within the computer and we all know water and electronics don't mix well I have been told to just keep the computer on but I will need to turn it off and the heating at night to save on electricity I have looked to see if you can buy thermal blankets that are designed for a desktop computer but they seem not to sell them thank you for taking time to read this any help would be great thank you :)

Hi and welcome to the forum, I think they have computers in Iceland and they seem to be fine,

and -10c is that outside? if its inside, maybe you should put the heating on in the winter, as your computer might be the least of your worries, with frozen pipes etc.

maybe you should ask a friend to come round and post some hot ones thought your letterbox?

Submerge the computer in oil. I'm not sure if it has to be special non-conductive oil, but if not you probably have some extra virgin lying around that you could use.
