Draw me a War!

I drew these *ahem* more recently, but the idea is similar to what I used to draw... Spaceships (inspired by freelancer) were a big topic, as were defensive fortifications - I loved layering the guns up on my imaginary wall so the NOBODY would be able to get past however many armies they sent at my wall muahahaha... In earlier years cross sections and plan views of castles under attack were more common than any actual work in most of my exercise books (Rather a few pages got ripped out every time they had to get handed in for marking). I think my favourite drawings were in the same series, done on the back cover of each of my exercise books. I had a different character for each subject - RS man was sort of myrmidon in style, Maths man was actually loads of Roman legionary style guys standing behing each other, I think history man was some awesomely heavily armoured knight (on foot). I can't remember the others, but I just loved doing those and then drawing simple copies in mock battle scenes. English man often died first.

My parents got called up to the school in juniors (about 8/9) because we had been given some paper and pens and told to draw what we want, I think it was around xmas time so she was expecting santa, elves etc etc.

When she found out my paper was a tank full of missiles/guns and stuff like that she was a bit shocked lol
