drawing a 3d building..

I have a surveyors drawing, with dimensions etc.

Anyone reccomend me some easy to use (ish) software so that i can create a mock of what it could possibly look like?

basically, i have a surveyor/architects drawing with dimensions etc all drawn on along with a basic look of what it will be like. I want to put these dimensions/draw the shapes up in an application where i can basically get an *idea* of what the building could look like when its built.

My 3d knowledge is very very lapse, sketchup looks good but maybe something a little better when it comes to rendering it would be nice?
