Drawing curves on photoshop

Im having trouble creating decent looking curves, hers an example im trying to mimic but every time it doesnt end up very smooth and looks aliased. What am i doing wrong?

If I use feather on a selection and fill it, it doesnt fill it exacally, it adds 'glow' around it.

You need to use the "shapes" tool. Theres a rounded rectangle shape and you can set the exremety of the rounded corners.

You might also want to look into how the pen tool works and other vector stuff in Photoshop. Very useful
