Hi guys.

My 3 year olds birthday present (£8.99 digital drawing tablet) has inspired me to look for my own, but mainly for working purposes and the occasional doodling when bored in meetings. I’m tired of using a notepad for notes.

Has anyone got one that imports your text/drawings into Windows?

Any recommendations welcome

As a professional artist I can recommend anything from either XPPen or Huion, they both have a good range of tablets across different sizes, features and prices. After my older Huion Q11K pen started getting wonky I decided to pick up a small Huion Inspiroy S (their smallest model) and about £45 on sale. The XPPen Deco Fun has smaller sizes and is even cheaper, I think sub £20 on sale, and not much more when not on sale.

Those pen tablets are for writing directly into windows or whatever OS, if you're looking for a digital notepad that allows you to literally write on it with pen and have that import to the pc then I think the Huion Note might be what you want, but you'll need replacement pads and inks which is a faff.

I'd recommend a small pen tablet that just plugs into your pc and/or phone as needed.
