Interested to know if you have this setup.

I've got an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station and Draytek Vigor 120 ADSL modem.

All I've done is plug the modem into the AEBS WAN port, and then in the PPPoE section of the AEBS Airport Utility dropped in my ADSL Username and Password. Is it that simple?

Interested to know if there is a way to access the Draytek Vigor 120 web page from within the network. Apparently if you plug into the modem directly via ethernet and go to the webpage (192.168.1.1 I believe) you should be able to access the page, but I can't seem to do that.... randomly.

Keen to know from anyone else with this configuration.

The draytek is on the wrong side of the world for you to be able to access it AFAIK.

Thanks for replies, 192.168.2.1 worked a peach

Annoying about not being able to see the details inside the network, how will I check sync speeds ?

You can access it in a few ways.

One is a VLANed switch, the other is manual outbound NAT rules...the former being expense and the latter requiring enough control of your firewall/router device.

I manually translate outbound connections from the local subnet to the modems 192.168.2.0/24 subnet to the same, 195.168.2.0/24 instead of my WAN subnet.

As said though, you require such control of your NAT configuration, which I have a sneaky suspicion an Apple AEBS will not have.
