Dreaded Blue Screen!

Hey, just wondering if anyone might be able to help me.

Basically when I start up my computer, after a couple of minutes, regardless of whether I have logged on to my deskop or not (even if I do log on its not long enough to do anything), this blue screen comes up:

My computer had been working fine since I built it up at xmas time, and then the other day, my dad tried uploading some pictures of his new camera when I was out. According to him it was saying that the computer didn't support the camera or somthing along those lines. So he went to add/remove programs and tried adding the camera as a device. Although he also says that he removed adobe photo album first because he didn't want to use that to sort his photos. When doing this (adding the camera as a device), this is when he said the blue screen came up.

I can't really get much out of him, as he doesn't like talking about it, so thats the only explanation I have for what happened

So basically, I don't really know what to do in terms of fixing it. I can't really make much sense of the error message as I'm not familiar with this side of computing.

I've tried re-setting all the bios settings to default, but nothing changes, the blue screen still comes up.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Borgia :)

Yeah, still does it in safe mode.

What exactly is a system restore? Am I able to do it from the Bios? And will it wipe all my photos and files from my hdd?

Thanks, Borgia :)

system restore wont wipe any personal photos etc. But anything thats been installed after the restore point will need to be reinstalled. That error code is for a pc camera driver. you need to get that uninstalled from add and remove. Also remove the device he has added if he did it manually :) Also it has to be done in windows.
