Dreamcast Collection confirmed!

I think I'm the only person who never got into Shenmue despite throwing loads of hours at it. It just seemed so restrictive and repetitive, I've got real life for that!

Please release all the best DC shmups on xbox arcade :)
I want:
Giga Wing 2
Border Down
Under Defeat
Zero Gunner 2

Add Mars Matrix and Gunbird 2 to that list for me. :D

That would be great if they were good ports as I wouldn't need to dig out the Dreamcast when I want to play Zero Gunner 2, but I doubt any of them will be ported.

Still I got Espgaluda 2 Black Label, Mushihimesame Futari, Ikaruga and I'll get around to buying Guwange from xbla and with Raiden Fighters Aces and Death Smiles also heading to pal region the 360 is looking quite good for shmups.

I still have Shenmue 1 and 2 for the Dreamcast in original packaging. I got rid of the Dreamcast ages ago but felt an unnatural attachment to those discs that prohibited me from giving them away!

:D

as much as i get the feeling it may not of aged well i was always interested in Phantasy Star Online but never managed to play it in its hayday, with the current online systems im sure it would be a massive hit.

i picked up a DC not that long ago but the wireless controller and HD graphics of the PS3 kept winning even though i loved what little i played of Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Ready to Rumble and i played through dynamite cop which was great if not a bit short like most arcade games.

After the recent DC releases like Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure on Arcade/PSN I'm tempted to say leave them as they are, but I'd be interested in Power Stone, Sega Rally and MSR if they were ported properly.

Let's not forget that the greatest of all DC games is already available on the 360, properly updated and fantastic. Rez HD is one of the best things you'll play this gen :)

I think a lot of people will be disappointed even if these are true to original and straight ports. People seem to forget that what was amazing in 1999 and 2000 is no longer as great as they thought it'd be. Some games don't hold up well against the test of time, no matter how great they were when first released.

they did do PSO on teh 360 .. i rememebr it when on my first time around when i bought release day... dont think it took off .. i played teh demo and got badly confused in the lobby .. didnt help i had no keyboard

i played the orginal on dc to death ... racked up a £300 phone bill on 3 months

Give me a decent version of Samba De Amigo on Move or Kinect and I might have a reason to finally retire my Dreamcast & maracas to the attic :D
