Dreamcast overheating?

My dreamcast keeps playing silly buggers after about 30mins of gaming. Ive took it totally apart and even put some thermal compound on the heatsinks but to no avail. Ive also cleaned the power connector pins internally which apparently can also cause these problems.

Anyone know anything else to try before i start searching for a replacement unit?

/symptoms are.. games locking up ( freezing ) then continuing about 5 minutes later. Also resetting of the unit by itself after maybe an hour or so, this is VERY intermittant though. Sometimes it doesnt happen at all.

mine used to do that

only happend once, i jsut gave it a little clean etc and its being fine since but i dont really use it much these days

I remember reading that the resetting might have something to do with the PSU or at least the connection (4 prongs on the main board). Mine used to do this all the time and I'd open it all the time for cleaning and stuff.
