Morning all,

So, I had a dream last night. Was about my girlfriend of two months telling me she wanted to split up. And see how things go tomorrow, to see if it's love. I said to her (In this dream) that tomorrow won't make a difference, I'll still love her then and need her more.

Then I woke up. This dream can't (To me) be what's going to happen. As we're both very much in love with each other. However, about 5 months ago I split with my ex, and she told me she wants to give it a months brake. Not a day. So maybe our dreams reflect our past, rather then our future?

Maybe I was dreaming of what did happen but, because I'm with my current girlfriend, it had her in place of my ex? I don't know.

It was very confusing.

Anyone else have a different view on this?

Have a good day all.

Rob. :)

This sounds a ****-eyed way of looking at things, but my dreams are usually the opposite to what's either happened or going to happen.

Rarely do my dreams say something to me, which need no thinking about. :o

I stayed at a friends on the weekend and thought I had a crazy dream where his friend came into the room in the middle of the night and ripped me out of bed, lifted me above his head trying to make me watch a boxing match.

I went downstairs in the morning and he was there, turns out it wasn't a dream.

lol.

I really hope my dreams don't mean anything, last one I had I was dreaming of flying hairy whales and the hairs were actually syringes which they would fire at you, much like a cluster bomb.

anyway.....

Was there a TV on in the background, next time, watch it, get the lottery numbers / race / football results.

Stick a stupid amount of money on it and see what happens, you'll soon find out if it was a glimpse of the futire or just a dream.

(if you win, i want a 25% cut my idea!)

Your previous experience with rejection has left you with a deeply rooted insecurity, which is manifesting in your subconscious dream state. This is a good thing though, as it's coming to the surface and your mind is processing this insecurity in the safest environment possible, the dream state.

Don't dwell on it and don't allow it to have any influence towards how you see your current relationship as it will only have a negative outcome. Look at the dream as your minds way of safely processing feelings and emotions.

I usually find the best way of dealing with a previous rejection is to go down the pub and pull the biggest minger in there and take her home, bang her rotten, whisper sweet nothings in her ear afterwards, and send her off for the best nights sleep she's had in ages with promises of dinner dates and meeting my friends and family, Then in the morning throw a fiver at tell her to phone a taxi as you had a bad dream about her and you changed your mind... JUST KIDDING!! :)

its you personal fears manifesting in your mind during sleep, ignore it or it will come true because you'll become paranoid

Thanks, VeNT and Bramski

Those two posts made a lot of sense and actually put things right.

A month ago, I had a dream that there was a fire in the reception area of our office. Something sparked it off in the ceiling.

I came into work yesterday, walked into reception to see an electrician ripping out one of the light fittings after it decided to set itself on fire

Haha true, apprently everything in your dream is sex related.
My dreams are usually made up of my fears, it's annoying because I get quite anxious :( Like I am now.
