I'm not 100% on this but on Vista I though you could buy certain features of other Vista versions, eg. a Home Premium user can buy Dreamscene?

From what I'm aware, you can't get specific features, but you can upgrade to Ultimate via the Windows marketplace.

i'm sure someone will make something, vlc can show videos as a background but not usable as a replacement for dreamscene.
shows it could be doable though.

the leaked beta , the one that was leaked on the forums, could be used wiht windows xp, so i woudl of thought that one could be used with hp, but cannot guantee that of course.

I have managed to get 'DreamScene' working on my 'Home Premium', I did post to say how it was done but my post was deleted

Av8

thats because its not supposed to run on home premium ;)

we know well anyone that knows how to google can find it can be done.

But its not a supported feature on home premium, hence were not allowed to discus it on here.

Please don't post links or information on this.

Basically, if you legally want to use DreamScene then you need Vista Ultimate.
