I need to make a basic site using dream weaver, ive done it before 7 years ago or so.

I dont want to be a web designer or anything so have no real need to learn html or php the site wont be updated much and has no need for a sql backend either.

It will be a few tables, thats its.

Now AFAIK your suppose to create 1 table that contains all the other tables arnt you? Like a 0row 1 columns table.

Anyone got a link to a basic guide to refresh my memory?

Well you wouldn't get very far if you did that, since the table would have no height (0 rows).

Best bet would be to grab a free CSS template and customise that. Google is your friend.

The only thing that will change is the content.

Theres a little doodle I did in mspaint, Do you know any templates that resemble that? that i can easily edit?

I meant 1row and 0 no columns

Are you suppose to have a 'holding' table?

0 columns would mean 0 width.

You mean one row and one column.

Then your table would have no width (0 columns). Your table needs to have at least 1 row and 1 column.

As for templates to match your drawing, there are hundreds of templates on that site, all as easily browse-able by you as they are by me, and since you have a better understanding of what you're looking for, then I suggest you take a look yourself.
