What is a good basic (click button) controller for phanteks DRGB fans 3pin 5v

I thought my motherboard had an header, it done not.

MSI B450m mortar max

It's very basic, but I have a Bitspower hub https://www.overclockers.co.uk/bitspower-digital-rgb-multi-function-controller-wc-696-bp.html, which I've had slaved to a motherboard header, slaved to an Octo (with the Addressable RGB to RGBpx adapter) and standalone using the onboard buttons at various times and it's worked fine all three ways. Limitations are no software control and all the connected LEDs get the same effect. It's happily driving 3x EK D-RGB fans, the D-RGB on my CPU block and pump/res plus a couple of Phanteks DRGB strips.

And, yes, so far as I have been able to work out D-RGB and A-RGB are the same thing.

my motherboard as only 2 x RGB headers and no A/D RGB headers and from the sale page i assume one is needed. the problem i'm having is my motherboard as no header but like a bell end i've paid for £90 with of DRGB thats now passed its return date, been sitting in a box for 2 months lol

Bitspower Digital RGB multi function controller is used to expand the amount of DRGB header of the motherboard

It'll work just fine without a connection to a motherboard header - the three buttons let you cycle through effects and colours. All it needs is SATA power.

Downside of using it like that is if you want to change the colour or effect, you have to take the side off the case to click a button.
