does anyone have any experience of these?

I looking for suspension for the MX5, and these look an excellent spec for the price, I would imagine the driftworks branded ones will be slightly superior.

I wont be using them for drifting (not much anyway ;-) ), probable circuit stuff and road use. My local track is oulton mind, so not the smoothest, so need something with excellent damping, not just stiff as a board!

You'd be better looking on the DW forum tbh, tonnes of people there use them. I can summarise what they will say about them though, best on the market by quite some margin at that price point. In fact Phil Morisson even binned his KW V3's in favour of these HSD's on his M3.

I would love a set of these for the MR2 - lots of people rave about them but I can't justify spending that much on what would essentially be a cosmetic upgrade. However if I ever decide to turn the MR2 in to a track toy then I'll certainly be after a set.

As for now, just looking for the best option with lowering springs.

Sounds good then! It's just wether to go for the hsd's or the actual driftworks ones, I'll get on the forum and find out what the difference is! Then all I got do is pay for em! Lol

I have them on my car. They are much better damping wise than the D2 Racing ones I had on before but they are firm.

It's certainly not just a cosmetic upgrade. If you want then just cut the springs.

I meant it would be mainly for cosmetic purposes for me, I want my car lower to avoid immigrant arches more than I want a step up in handling as my car handles fine now.
