Hi all,

One quick question to the capable modders.

I'm looking at using this Bitspower Pass Through in my next build to pass the loop from one chamber to another.

I'm wondering whether someone can point me to which drill bit should I buy in order to drill a hole in my case's mid-wall to fit the fitting through it please? :D

You can pick up a "Erbauer Spiral Flute Step Drill Bit 4-20mm" for £16 and it works quite nicely - used one to drill the hole for a QD3 bulkhead passthrough. Unlike a large metal drill (if you can get one large enough and still have it fit in your drill) you don't end up with a triangular hole....which is a bonus.

You want a (preferably straight flute) step drill as mentioned. A twist drill of that size in sheet will go disastrously wrong.

when I put two in my 540 the step drill was the way to go.
sure I got to 22mm or so before mine fit.
although mine are not a specific brand, they came from a pneumatics specialist
