i am about to butcher the top of my akasa eclipse and fit a grill and a couple of 120mm fans. i have it taped up and marked out, ready to dremel later.

what size of drill bit do i need to use to make a hole for those short fat screws that screw into the corners of the fan mounting?

cheers

I usually just measure the screw against my different sizes and then pick the most suitable one, slightly smaller one usually. :D

Might have some trouble doing that if you don't have any ;)

Just measured a couple. They are all roughly 4.8mm. So 5mm will do you. It will probably cut big anyway. I would recommend a poper sheet metal drill. Using a standard twist drill may be hazardous to your health (And skin!) Should really be a 5.5mm hole tbh.

4mm metal drill bit worked just fine
its a radiator grill but no radiator underneath, just a blowhole fan at the moment.
will try and get some pics up later when its all put together
